The Merced County Superior Court had been paying for mainframe access to interface with old, archived case data. This was quickly becoming cost-prohibitive as well as inflexible, limiting their usage of the data. They approached us wanting to build a Django-based viewer for this old data. The data was imported from old COBOL databases into MySQL, and then this application was developed on top of it.

Work Performed

Built a Django portal for viewing historical case data.

Integrated authentication with LDAP, as well as built an access-control system for the various groups.
