23solutions is a small, independent software development and consulting shop located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. We enjoy working with companies both large and small to help them achieve their software and other technology-related needs.
Web Design and Development
Many companies today do their business all or in-part on the web. It’s important that you put your best face forward to your customers. Usability, style and functionality are all important aspects of building an effective web-presence. By identifying your target audience and building a site that caters to them, you can make the web work for you.
We have experience with databases, e-commerce solutions and community-oriented websites, so let us help you with all your web-based needs.
Application Programming
Building successful software requires a well-designed, well thought-out foundation to build on. We’ve spent years working with technology and know how to think ahead of the game. Your business changes, so why shouldn’t your software be able to keep up? (We think it should!)
We have experience writing software for platforms large and small. From embedded wireless routers to large ISP-scale network appliances, as well as web applications large and small (and everywhere in-between too!).
Open Source Integration
Perhaps you’re interested in seeing how open-source software can save you and your business time, money and headaches. We love open-source software and we’re happy to show you why!
Consulting / Project Management
We’re here to help! Perhaps you have the staff to do the work, but they need some help in squeezing the most out of new technologies like CSS and XHTML, agile development strategies, optimizing code for speed and style, or fine-tuning your database or application for the web, we know a lot about a lot of things!
Maybe you have a project you’re not to sure is going well because you are over your head in terms of technology. We’re happy to help you keep your project on task, within budget, and delivered on time.
System Administration
Sometimes you need to have your infrastructure managed. It doesn’t make any sense to hire someone in-house to maintain a handful of e-mail addresses and a web-application. We’ve done it all, from single-machines to ISP-scale networking.

Rates
We are happy to work in one of two ways:
- Per-project bid basis
- As hourly contractors
Choose the mode that makes the most sense for your business or project needs. We have very reasonable rates.
Estimates
Estimates are only as good as the information that goes into them. (Read as: We prefer to not pull numbers out of a hat when making time and cost estimates.) Therefore, we request that you have a fairly well-developed outline of your needs before an estimate can be made.
